شان پاکستان جرمنی فرینکفرٹ/ضرتگال/لسبن۔ رپورٹ کے مطابق منہاج یونیورسٹی لاہور پرتگال میں منعقد ہونے والے۔ ٭Universidade NOVA de Lisboa کے تعاون سے Academic Council on the United Nations System (ACUNS 2026 ٭کی انتالیسویں سالانہ اجلاس میں بھرپور اور موئثر شرکت کی، بین الاقوامی سطح کے اس باوقار علمی فورم پر منہاج یونیورسٹی لاہور کے وفد نے عالمی نظم و نسق، انسانی حقوق،موسمیاتی تبدیلی، مصنوعی ذہانت، امن اور پائیدار ترقی جیسے اہم موضوعات پر اپنی تحقیقی کاوشیں پیش کیں، وفد نے چار اعلی سطحی پینل سیٹنز کی صدارت بھی کی، جس سے عالمی،علمی مکالمے میں یونفورسٹی کے بڑھتے ہوئے کردار کو مزید تقویت ملی، یوتھ منہاج یونیورسٹی لاہور کے رجسٹرار پروفیسر ڈاکٹر خرم شہزاد نے۔Agency and Futures: Navigating Climate Displacement and Artificial Intelligence – A Meta-Analysis” کے عنوان سے اپنا تحقیقی مقالہ پیش کیا، جس میں موسمیاتی نقل مکانی اور مصنوعی ذہانت جیسے ابھرتے ہوئے عالمی چیلنجز سے نمٹنے میں نوجوانوں کے لئے کلیدی کردار پر روشنی ڈالی گئی۔ یونیورسٹی کے بین الاقوامی وفذ میں سیف شہباز نے بحران کے دوران انسانی سلامتی، علاقائی سفارتکاری اور حقوق کے تحفظ کے موضوع پر پینل سیشن کی صدارت کی، جبکہ ڈاکٹر عرفان ظہور احمد نے۔ ڈیجیٹل جدت، انسانی حقوق اور عالمی نظم و نسق پر منعقدہ سیشن کی قیادت کی، اسی طرح ڈائریکٹر یورپی پارٹنر شپس عمر مرزا نے عالمی نظام اور اقوام متحدہ کے مستقبل سے متعلق اہم مباعثے کی صدارت کی۔ کانفرنس کے دوران وفد نے مختلف ممالک سے تعلق رکھنے والے ماہرین تعلیم، محققین اور پالیسی سازوں کے ساتھ نیٹ ورکنگ اجلاسوں اور علمی تبادلوں میں بھی حصّہ لیا، جس کے ذریعہ بین الاقوامی تعاون کو فروغ دینے اور منہاج یونیورسٹی لاہور کی تحقیقی صلاحیتوں کو عالمی سطح پر اجاگر کرنے کا موقع ملا، آکونز 2026 منہاج یونیورسٹی لاہور اور منہاج القرآن انٹرنیشنل یورپ کی کامیاب شرکت اس بات کا ثبوت ہے کہ ادارہ علمی فضیلت، بین الاقوامی روابط اور عمر حاضر کے اہم عالمی چیلنجز پر موئثر اور بامعنی مکالمے کے فروغ کے لئے مسلسل سرگرم عمل ہے۔

Lisbon, Portugal: Minhaj University Lahore (MUL), in collaboration with Minhaj-ul-Quran International Europe, made a significant contribution to the 39th Annual Meeting of the Academic Council on the United Nations System (ACUNS 2026), held at Universidade NOVA de Lisboa, Portugal.
Representing the university on a prestigious international academic platform, the delegation presented research on global governance, human rights, climate change, artificial intelligence, peace, and sustainable development. The delegation also chaired four high-level panel sessions, underscoring the university’s growing role in global academic discourse.
Prof. Dr. Khurram Shahzad, Registrar of Minhaj University Lahore, presented his research paper titled “The Agency of Young People and the Future: Navigating Climate Displacement and Artificial Intelligence – A Meta-Analysis,” highlighting the critical role of young people in addressing emerging global challenges and shaping a more resilient future.
The university’s international delegation also played prominent leadership roles throughout the conference. Saif Shahbaz chaired the panel discussion on “Human Security in Crisis: Regional Diplomacy and the Protection of Rights.” Dr. Urfan Zahoor Ahmed chaired a session on digital innovation, human rights, and global governance, while Umar Mirza, Director of European Partnerships, led discussions on the future of global governance and the evolving role of the United Nations system.
In addition to participating in conference sessions, the delegation engaged with scholars, researchers, and policymakers from around the world through networking meetings and academic exchanges. These interactions strengthened international partnerships and further showcased Minhaj University Lahore’s commitment to research excellence and global collaboration.
